⚖ Compare

The 360 N-GT is a 360 Challenge tuned by Michelotto for the N-GT class of the FIA GT Championship and is the fastest version of the 360. Unrestricted, the engine produced over 547 PS, with a top speed of around 190 mph. It was the last car born of the collaboration between Ferrari and Michelotto. In Australia, John Bowe drove such a car in the 2002 Nations Cup, finishing third in the championship; as late as 2011, a Michelotto 360 triumphed against the newer F430 GT in the Britcar championship.

Campaign in Australia

In 2002, Prancing Horse Racing replaced its 360 Challenge with an N-GT driven by successful racer John Bowe. With it, he finished third in the Australian Nations Cup Championship and second in 2003. At the 2002 Sandown 500, Bowe and Steve Beards placed third in the N-GT class, while their teammates Brad Jones and Maher Algadrie retired after 88 laps.

Bathurst 24 Hour

In 2002, the team also ran the car at Bathurst. After taking pole, it ran in 2nd place behind the 7.0-liter Holden Monaro 427C and assumed the lead when the Monaro had to pit for a flat tire. Then it lost oil pressure. The engine swap took only 3 hours, but the replacement engine lost oil pressure as well; shortly before midnight, the race was over. In 2003, the car was entered once more by Team BE Racing, qualifying seventh and retiring on lap 287.
