The P4/5 by Pininfarina is a one-off commissioned by film director James Glickenhaus. The donor vehicle was the last unsold US-market Enzo, which Pininfarina re-bodied in the style of Ferrari's P-series sports racers, drawing particular inspiration from the 330P4 that Glickenhaus owns himself. The car was publicly unveiled in August 2006 at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. A central divider in the front grille opening and separate air ducts echo the front of the classic endurance racer.

Good to know
- Pininfarina designed over 200 bespoke parts for the P4/5, though the vehicle retained the chassis number of the Enzo on which it is based.
- Glickenhaus is the son of Wall Street financier Seth Glickenhaus; in March 2005, Pininfarina approached him to ask if he would like to commission a one-off.
- Luca di Montezemolo felt the car deserved an official Ferrari badge, which is why it is titled "Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina."
- Ken Okuyama, head of Pininfarina's styling department, aimed to avoid retro nostalgia in favor of a forward-looking supercar.

Genesis
In June 2005, Glickenhaus signed the contract with Pininfarina. He acquired the final unsold Enzo and transported it to Turin alongside his own P4. Work commenced in September 2005 with initial sketches by Jason Castriota, followed by computer-aided modeling and rigorous wind tunnel testing. In July 2006, several websites were permitted to publish images of the clay model; the car made its public debut on August 18, 2006, at Pebble Beach, followed by an appearance in Paris in late September.
Design and mechanical details
Derived from the 330P4 are the center bar in the front air intake, the side flaps, the two front air ducts, the cooling ducts ahead of the rear wheels, and the glass canopy over the passengers. At the rear, there are sharp trailing edges and round taillights. The carbon-fiber body is 4.63 meters long, 2.04 meters wide, and 1.12 meters high. The six-liter V12 develops 657 Nm, with 335/30 tires fitted at the rear.
The Competizione
In September 2009, Glickenhaus announced plans to build a new version for the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, the SCG P4/5 Competizione. Rather than modifying the road car, this was conceived as a new vehicle built on a Ferrari chassis with its own VIN and powertrain under Glickenhaus's proprietary brand. In May 2010, it was confirmed that the car would be based on the 430 Scuderia and built to FIA GT2 regulations.
