The A1GP "Powered by Ferrari" was the spec race car used in the A1 Grand Prix series for 2008. The bespoke chassis was designed by John Travis, though its styling and aerodynamic configuration took clear cues from the Ferrari F2004. Constructed with a carbon-fiber skin over an aluminum honeycomb core, the car was propelled by a Ferrari F136-family V8. It underwent development across multiple circuits, accumulating more than 5600 test kilometers, with Andrea Bertolini serving as chief test driver. Only 23 examples were built, all of which now reside in the United States.
